Chevron Lane unveiled at Chevron Renaissance

Exposed brick and street art adorning laneways are sights not often seen on the Gold Coast, but have been unveiled at Chevron Lane in Chevron Renaissance, Surfers Paradise.

As John Lennon once mused, the times, they are a changin’. Previously forgotten Gold Coast alleyways are now being gazed upon as avenues of endless possibility as evidenced by the newly unveiled Chevron Lane that has brought a little touch of Melbourne to the Gold Coast.

Urban street art by John Kaye provides a visual smorgasbord and has given the entire shopping and dining precinct a new edge. Using more than 150 cans of spray paint across eight panels, the street art in Chevron Lane is just the start of things to come for this new precinct.

The first of the boutique eateries to be announced at Chevron Lane is Viet Baguettes, a Vietnamese-inspired street food outlet that is set to open in coming weeks while the fit-outs are underway for a Japanese fusion restaurant and a specialised tea concept store.

The new boutique retail and dining outlets have been handpicked to give shoppers a new and exciting experience which breaks free from the white walls and large glass window treatment usually seen at shopping centres.

The opening of Chevron Lane is part of Chevron Renaissance’s multi-million dollar transformation that is currently underway.
