The sophisticated new venue is the third in the Hatch & Co. empire, which also includes restaurants in Newstead and Garden City in Brisbane.

Meandering from moreish morsels of crispy calamari and wood-fired chicken wings to indulgent share plates loaded with wood-fired beef tenderloin, Hatch & Co. is the perfect backdrop to partake in the ritual of shared dining. From burgers through to fancier, meatier dishes and fresh pasta topped with braised pork ragu, the varied modern Australian menu accommodates all whims and fancies with ease. For those who are familiar with its Brisbane venues, you might recognise some of the enduring crowd favourites including its signature slow roasted lamb shoulder with garlic, watercress and a squeeze of zesty lemon but Executive Chef Craig Wright has introduced some exciting new additions in response to the laidback Gold Coast lifestyle. The rustic, home-style dishes are crafted from the best of local and sustainable produce.

The expansive timber deck bathed in sunlight beckons with the promise of deliciously cold craft beers, a wine list that rolls over multiple pages and some mighty appetising cocktails. Inside, the new digs possesses a similar vibe to its Brisbane sisters with blonde timber, scandi-style settings and a gorgeous living wall.
