Antipodium’s Fenella Peacock launches solo collection

If you’re a fan of London-based label Antipodium, your closet space is in for a treat with the new collection from Fenella Peacock.

WA-based designer Fenella Peacock launched her self-titled label in 2010, but her latest release is the first collection since having stepped out of the Antipodium fold (which she formed with sister Ashe Peacock and Geoffrey J. Finch). The range sees Fenella’s trademark easy-care pieces teamed with splashes of colour and interesting silhouettes. She plays with 1980s influences in the form of boxy shapes and cropped jackets, and adds playful details with raw edges, oversized pockets and shell buttons.

Fenella has taken expert care to create a range focused on handcrafted techniques, such as the hand-stitched Noughts & Crosses dress and the Masterpiece pants, which have been hand-painted by a Vietnamese artist. Five cosy knits also make an appearance, amping up the comfort factor with a one-size-fits-all approach that can be tailored to fit your body. Layered pieces are ideal for winter, as is Fenella’s use of natural fibres and soft textures.

Fenella Peacock’s latest collection will soon be available online.
