Clayfield institution brings its tantalising Thai street food to the CBD
The team behind the award-winning eatery Siam Pagoda Thai Garden has brought its authentic Thai cuisine to Charlotte Street. New Season Asian opened its doors earlier this month, slinging a medley of street-food dishes that are ready to elevate your weekday lunches and enliven late-night feeds.
Siam Pagoda Thai Garden has been a staple of Junction Road for years, famed for its mouth-watering menu of traditional Thai cuisine. The restaurant has consistently been awarded the title of Brisbane’s best Thai restaurant by the likes of MenuLog, R&CA and more – winning the hearts (and appetites) of locals and visitors alike. Now, Thai-food fans can settle in and feast on its popular aromatic dishes and rich flavours in the heart of the city at New Season Asian’s cosy, inner-city hot spot in the Elizabeth Street Arcade. New Season Asian joins the precinct’s already stacked line-up of Asian eateries, bringing with it street-style fare, frosty Tsingtaos and the layers of Thai flavours that the kitchen has spent the last decade perfecting.
The new venture’s hawker-style cuisine hails from the food stalls of Thai streets, featuring fast and fresh dishes mingled with aromatic spices. Regulars at the Clayfield location will be happy to spot a few a few signature dishes dishes on New Season Asian’s menu. Find Thai comfort classics like Pad Thai and Pad See-Yew alongside the refreshing flavours of Tom Yum salad or Hainan chicken, or satiate your midweek cravings with hearty plates of succulent roasted duck, wok-tossed crab fried rice or pork neck nam tok salad.
New Season Asian is open for lunch daily from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm and reopens for dinner from 5:30 pm. Find out more via the New Season Asian website.
