Online farmers market Field Good has launched just in time for Christmas food shopping

If like us, you would rather steer clear of jam-packed shopping centres this silly season, we have some merry-good news for you. The folks behind some of your favourite South East Queensland markets have cleverly created a new online farmers market called Field Good. No need to pack the car with reusable tote bags and a wagon cart, as this new service allows shoppers to get some of the freshest produce the region has to offer delivered straight their door.

Those not wanting to leave the comforts of their aircon this summer, rejoice! A new way to fill your pantry and fridge with farm-fresh produce has emerged and its name is Field Good. This new online farmers market is the brainchild of Goodwill Projects managing director Mark Power, who manages a treasure chest of Queensland’s top farmers markets. “Everyone loves visiting a farmers market – because they know they are helping support local farmers, makers and traders in their small businesses and also because they get amazing produce at bargain prices compared to the supermarkets,” says Mark. Field Good was born to help customers access farmers markets goodies more easily as well as help the local producers and makers grow their business. “Field Good gives them [businesses] the platform to reach more customers and grow beyond the markets they attend.”

As a strictly online farmers market, this new venture sees the farmers, makers and market traders you usually spot at your local weekend market selling their produce and goodies online. There’s more than 1000 items to choose from including fresh fruit and vegetables from Freshly Picked, organic goods from Bio Organic Farm, meaty morsels from Meat Co, ocean-caught delicacies from Rufus King Seafoods, handmade pasta from Enzo Pasta and killer coffee from Fonzie Abbott. Field Good delivers orders weekly across Brisbane, the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast.
