Head outdoors for Brisbane’s first Yoga Day Festival

Help celebrate the United Nations International Day of Yoga at Brisbane’s first Yoga Day Festival this Sunday June 21.

This weekend, yogis around the globe will come together for the United Nations International Day of Yoga. Brisbane will also be joining the festivities with the city’s first Yoga Day Festival kicking off in Roma Street Parkland at 1:00 pm on Sunday June 21. The free community event will feature flowing yoga asana classes, meditation, deep relaxation, yoga breathing, as well live music, dance and vegetarian food. Little yogis will also be kept busy, with plenty of kids’ games and activities planned for the day.

Head to the gorgeous Celebration Lawn in Roma Street Parkland with your yoga mat or towel and join in the fun from 1:00–5:00 pm. Find more information about the festival hosted by the Australian School of Meditation & Yoga, the Brisbane event and the International Day of Yoga online.
