Wrecking Ball breaks down contemporary pop culture

Wrecking Ball is the latest production from the little red company, examining the life of a teen idol turned pop-superstar.

The little red company are a Matilda Award winning cabaret production collective that enjoyed huge success with their previous production, Rumour Has It: Sixty Minutes Inside Adele. The team are back with a witty and entertaining new stage production that takes aim at the princess of pop, Miley Cyrus.

Wrecking Ball is a unique look at the life of a teen idol and her transition from clean-cut songstress into a twerking powerhouse. This production is about the loss of innocence, the shattering of long held conceptions, the impact of living in the spotlight and the debris that is left behind in the wake of change.

Wrecking Ball has been created by Adam Brunes and Naomi Price and will be wreaking havoc on the Judith Wright Centre stage from Friday November 21 to Saturday November 29.
