Puttin’ on the (sp)ritz – sesh by the river at Eagle Street Pier’s pop-up Aperol bar

Spring is quite possibly our favourite time of year in Brisbane. Picnics in the park, alfresco sipping sessions and indulging in our cracker culinary scene are just some of the ways we love to spend spring in The City. We’ve recently discovered there’s a new spot to while away your afternoons in this bloomin’ great season – at the Aperol Spritz Pop-Up at Eagle Street Pier. From Thursday November 11 to Saturday December 18, this breezy hub will transport you to Capri while you sip on Aperol cocktails and feast on bar snacks from some of Eagle Street Pier’s most beloved restaurants.

Are you ready for your tastebuds to be transported halfway across the world? If you nodded yes, then continue reading. From Wednesday through to Saturday starting November 11, the Aperol Spritz Pop-Up at Eagle Street Pier will be doling out refreshing beverages (with a little help from Italian-inspired spuntino and pasta joint COPPA), banger bites and Euro-summer vibes in spades.

Along with plenty of Aperol Spritz, the pop-up will be serving up a sizzling selection of bar snacks made by the COPPA team including fresh oysters, artichokes served with herbed aioli, 18-month prosciutto, Moreton Bay bug arancini, prawns with ‘nduja aioli, and rosemary and parmesan fries served with aioli. Fatcow Steak & Lobster, Rico Bar & DiningFratelli Famous and City Winery will also each have an array of bar favourites, small plates and nibbles available to order direct to the pop-up bar, so it’s safe to say you won’t be leaving hungry.

The Aperol Spritz Pop-Up bar will operate at Eagle Street Pier in the Northshore forecourt (opposite City Winery) from Wednesday to Saturday from 12:00–7:00 pm daily. To learn more, head to the Eagle Street Pier website.
