Farrier
Corner Arthur and James Streets, Fortitude Valley
Wander around the corner of the QA Hotel’s main entrance, venture downstairs through a heavy black wooden door and you’ll find Farrier – a late-night supper club tucked away in the hotel’s cellar. Farrier’s name is an homage to the area’s past, with New Farm once considered Brisbane’s second largest farming community. As you make your way through the exposed-brick subterranean labyrinth you’ll see that the tribute doesn’t end with the supper club’s moniker – striking monochrome horses grace the walls alongside horseshoes and blacksmith tools, furniture is covered in cow and horse hides, and wooden-spoon table numbers are branded with the Farrier logo.
