Working Title Brew Co.

After two years operating as a gypsy brewing outfit, experimental beer maker Working Title Brew Co. entered the big leagues with its own bricks-and-mortar brewpub. Taking over the storied space recently vacated by Newstead Brewing Co., the Working Title team has kept a hold on the lease, hotel licence and brewing gear, giving the venue a cosmetic overhaul boasting plenty of colour. The team is continuing to produce out-of-the-box beers using unconventional ingredient pairings and techniques, with four new beers created each month. While there wont be a core range available, the team will have a take on most styles on offer. Beer won’t be the only thing on offer at Working Title’s bar – guests will also be able to sip small-batch vino direct from the cellar doors of young producers, as well as a sturdy selection of cocktails made using locally produced spirits and Coffee Supreme coffee. The kitchen will dispense a range of similarly creative Southeast Asian-inspired dishes, with pig head and blue cheese croquette baos, ox tongue, kimchi and gruyere toasties, beer-basted panca chilli octopus sticks featuring.
