The Hideout Specialty Coffee on Edward

A beloved fixture of the inner-city coffee scene is cementing its position as a go-to pick-me-up destination. The crew behind The Hideout Specialty Coffee on Adelaide Street will be opening a second location next month, with a new 50-sqm cafe currently taking shape at 100 Edward Street (just next to Le Bon Choix). Like always, The Hideout crew will be focusing on serving high-quality coffee to the caffeine-seeking Brisbane City crowd, serving three distinct espresso blends and a rotating single origin from Zest Coffee Roasters. The cafe’s filter-coffee selections will showcase beans from quality Australia and international roasters, while The Hideout’s pour-over options will give guests and coffee purists a chance to sample coffee that has been graded 90 and above on the specialty coffee score. What’s more, the cafe is expected to host an array of educational courses, cupping sessions and various coffee events for the general public to get amongst. On the food front, The Hideout Specialty Coffee on Edward will serve tartines, wraps, sandwiches, salads and pastries from Aroma Bakery. Stay tuned for an up-close look at the new caffeinery when it opens in mid-April.
