Queensland Museum

Located in the heart of Brisbane’s cultural precinct, Queensland Museum is custodian of Queensland’s natural and cultural heritage, caring for more than a million items and specimens in collections that tell the changing story of Queensland. In 2012, Queensland Museum celebrated 150 years of collecting, from its early roots beginning in a small room within the Old Windmill on Wickham Terrace. Since then, Queensland Museum has been documenting, discovering, preserving and sharing Queensland’s natural and cultural heritage.
