OTTO Brisbane

Known for renowned Sydney spots Quay and OTTO Ristorante Sydney, the entrepreneurial minds at The Fink Group looked north to open a sister venue, OTTO Brisbane, in 2016. Conceptually similar to OTTO in Sydney, the venue offers a modern Italian menu using Australian ingredients. Originally located within the 480 Queen building, in early 2021 OTTO Brisbane relocated to South Bank, taking over the riverside space formerly home to Stokehouse Q. Acclaimed head chef Will Cowper’s comprehensive menu is fresh, seasonal and produce-driven, with the kitchen team constantly sourcing Brisbane for the finest local ingredients and letting them speak for themselves. Notable dishes include the signature champagne-lobster spaghettini, Rangers Valley beef carpaccio with truffle dressing, butterflied spatchcock with crispy pancetta and Hervey Bay scallops with pumpkin and black pudding. The venue is also home to OTTO Osteria, a casual aperitivo inspired bar that serves a looser menu of bites – think house-made mini focaccias, char-grilled tiger prawns, baccala-and-potato croquettes, spaghetti cacio e pepe and char-grilled local bay squid. The restaurant and bar’s beverage list spotlights Italian wines, available alongside a cluster of refreshing cocktails.
