Maestro Meats

The scent of the in-house smoker wafts towards you as you open the doors to Maestro Meats, which focuses on high-quality, locally sourced produce. Owners Jon Schreuders and Ross Perfect learnt their craft from a fourth-generation Swiss butcher and now specialising in house-made small goods. The pair has run the Annerley butcher shop for two years now, and is starting to grow the selection of grocery goods and condiments also stocked in-store. In the cabinet, neighbourhood carnivores will find dinner inspiration in the Lilydale free-range chicken, Bangalow pork and Tasmanian lamb, with local eggs and Harris Smokehouse salmon pate also gracing the shelves.
