Le Bon Choix

With luxury retailers such as Cartier, Louis Vuitton and Hermès settling in on Edward Street, it seems only fitting that the Paris end of the city gained its very own French boulangerie and patisserie. All of Le Bon Choix’s breads, pastries and sweets are baked fresh each day at the patisserie’s head office and delivered to the store – if you visit bright and early you may be lucky enough to find your croissant still warm. Le Bon Choix’s famed macarons are of course also available, or for something a little more decadent head to the sweet counter, filled with vibrant and flamboyant delicacies such as the orange-dome Bamboleo, a trio of fruit flavours with mango mousse, mango, passionfruit and banana jelly. If you don’t have much of a sweet tooth, the savoury counter at Le Bon Choix will not disappoint. The ever-changing sandwich counter is filled to the brim with baguettes, bagels, ciabatta and wraps, stuffed full of fresh salads and meats. Otherwise, opt for a classic quiche, flaky pie or indulgent croque-monsieur.
