Ironlak opened its first Brisbane flagship store at the end of 2016, expanding its scope with a larger product range and a focus on fostering a community spirit among Brisbane’s street art scene. Occupying a subterranean space off Queen Street Mall, Ironlak boasts shelves upon shelves of products for artists of all specialties. Aerosol paint, watercolour pencils, gel pens, permanent markers, acrylic, oil and gouache paint easels, canvasses and Ironlak apparel is just a fraction of the wares available. Trial benches have been installed for newcomers to try out Ironlak products on sample canvasses, with all staff boasting artistic backgrounds to help customers navigate the extensive range.
