Towards the tail-end of 2016, Spring Hill residents were treated to an early Christmas gift with the opening of GourmetBar. Nestled inside the Novotel Brisbane on Creek Street, GourmetBar is a bar and eatery that prides itself on its signature range of dishes made with the best ingredients from Queensland. Situated in the open-plan lobby of the hotel, the interior features a modern and urban design, with floor-to-ceiling windows, a warm timber palette, lush greenery, high-backed sofas, plenty of seating and a large centrepiece counter. Chefs Simone Zechner and Boris Villier have crafted a menu of eats for every time of day. Thematic menus include morsels such as burgers, pasts, tapas, home-style desserts and more. Early risers can stop by for excellent coffee, or post-work revellers can sip on specialty spirits, fine wines and craft beer.
