Common Ground Cellars, a bottle shop and cellar door, is the newest concept from the team behind Milton-based microbrewery Milton Common and Common Ground Brewing. A space on Sir Fred Schonell Drive in St Lucia has been transformed into a cellar stocking more than 600 wines, some of the best Australian-made craft beers (including Common Ground Brewing’s own can ned range) and bespoke spirits. Appearances from guest winemakers and brewers will take place here weekly, with booze lovers invited to meet the makers behind their favourite frothies and vino, learning from the experts via regular tastings. In addition to the sensational selection of grog, Common Ground Cellars will also serve caffeine supplied by fellow Queensland-based company Cavalier Coffee Roasters from 6:00 am to 12:00 pm daily.
