Inhabiting a revamped corner store location, Billykart blends throwback charm with a modern offering. Though now operated by new owners, the 80-seater eatery still serves up a menu of casual fare made from seasonal local produce, served with a smile by a top-flight front-of-house team. Pop in for ricotta buttermilk pancakes with seasonal fruits, strawberry mascarpone whipped cream and maple syrup, a house-made corned-beef Reuben with mustard mayo, cheese and pickled sauerkraut, and the iconic Aussie Asian Eggs, which boasts grilled prawns, bacon, crispy noodles, two deep fried eggs, oyster sauce and chilli.
