There’s no better way than to test the mettle of your friendship group or colleagues than by tackling an escape room together. Who will flourish? Who with falter? Who is just there for the cocktails at the end? Arcadium Adventures is Brisbane’s newest interactive immersive experience and invites you to discover a whole new world of puzzles and mystery through fantasy realms or settle in to the speakeasy-style bar. Housed in the heritage-listed Espie Dods House on Wickham Terrace, Arcadium offers various immersive 50-minute escape room experiences across two unique spaces (a third will be unveiled in 2020) that can be played alone or in a group, with a unifying story tying each experience together. The underground bar is open to the public so even if you’re not embarking on an adventure, you’re welcome to settle in and enjoy a tipple. The bar seats 40 and dishes up a selection of cocktails inspired by the Arcadium experience, as well as locally brewed beers, spirits and more.
