Ze Qickle Food Truck

From the lads behind Burleigh’s burger institution Ze Pickle comes one of the most badass food trucks you’ve ever seen – Ze Qickle. The 1984 Chevy was picked up from a Los Angeles police auction – the vehicle had been posing as a Fed Ex van and was seized during a drug bust. We told you it was badass. The Ze Pickle guys pulled it apart, shipped it over and put it back together (maintaining the left-hand drive), creating a killer food truck with a schmick interior kitchen set-up and – let’s be honest – a pretty ghetto exterior. But don’t be put off by the rust guys, that’s a vinyl wrap! Ze Qickle roams between the Gold Coast, Brisbane and Byron Bay, slinging a rotating selection of four burgers and non-alcoholic fun drinks. There are even whispers of a ZP tour of the east coast in the not too distant future so keep your peepers peeled for that. The food truck is just the beginning of the Ze Qickle empire – the boys have big plans to roll out the concept into a number of hole-in-the-wall burger joints.
