Open from 11:00 am daily, guests and visitors are invited to sink into one of the low-set couches and sip freshly ground coffee over a bite, or, if the mood allows, indulge in a sneaky sundowner (or two) pre/post dinner. Ideally perched overlooking the resort’s famous tropical oasis, Chapter & Verse is the perfect setting for long lunches that roll merrily into cocktail-filled evenings as well as elegant high teas and long overdue catchups with friends. The menu meanders from small bites through to larger share plates and showcases JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa’s commitment to showcasing local produce alongside sustainable and ethically sourced ingredients. The drinks selection is equally as impressive and features a range of uniquely crafted cocktails and in-house infusions that are created using local, native flowers and herbs. Chapter & Verse brings together interest and energy with experience and appeals to families on holiday, business travellers and locals.

The impressive new fit-out is part of a much larger scale of works that also includes an overhaul to each of the 223 guest rooms, public spaces and restaurants as part of the resort’s transformation into JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa. The Surfers Paradise locale is an Australian first for the JW brand and firmly entrenches the iconic hotel as one of the Gold Coast’s most luxurious accomodation options.
