French restaurant Bisque promises to let you ‘experience what a true love affair with food can be’ by melding traditional French fare with a touch of modernity to create an evolving menu that’s driven by the season’s best produce. Expect to see dishes like blue-swimmer-crab bisque with handmade grissini, vol-au-vent topped with local tiger prawns in a creamy-garlic sauce flambeed with Pernod, duck-liver pate with smoked salmon, house-made pickles and baguette crisps, French onion soup with gruyere croutons and, for the adventurous – traditional escargot in a garlic-brandy butter, encased in golden puff pastry. Got a sweet tooth? Choose between pear tarte tatin, creme brulee and crepes Suzette with an orange-Cointreau sauce.
