At the Family Fun Day, kids are encouraged to join free craft workshops with The Craft Parlour from 8:30-11:30 am, come face-to-face with a reptile at the ‘pat & chat’ sessions between 11:30 am and 1:30 pm, get their face painted and try their hand at the fun lawn games. Those with fur children are welcome to bring their four-legged friends along for a free dog wash all day and a colourful fur-styling makeover from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
With the kids taken care of, the adults can indulge their senses by exploring Tugun Market Co’s maze of delectable dishes, free samples and fresh produce, all while listening to live music from local artists. For maximum pleasure, we recommend bringing an empty esky and some eco-friendly bags, ready to pack to the brim with a rainbow of seasonal produce, juicy meats from the butcher, vegan and organic products, health foods and a wheel or two of cheese from the extensive fromagerie. Top it all off with some beautiful blooms, pantry staples and a hot cup of joe from the cafe, and you’ve had yourself a wholesomely productive day out!
