Soak Bathhouse launches Soak & Sound nights featuring live tunes by the hot spas

It’s pretty chilly here in Queensland, and while it’s all well and good to flick on the reverse-cycle air conditioner and layer up on blankets, we know of another way to get warm this winter – a visit to Soak Bathhouse in Mermaid Beach. The communal bathhouse is taking things to sizzling new heights as the mercury drops with the launch of it Soak & Sound nights, transforming the space into a harmonious haven full of live musicians and hot drinks.

Inspired by Après ski outdoor hot springs in the snow, Soak Bathouse’s weekly Soak & Sound nights are sure to help warm you up during the cooler months. Happening from 5:00–8:00 pm every Wednesday throughout winter, these tranquil sessions combine the wellness benefits of both water and sound. “With winter Soak & Sound nights, we aim to create an oasis where guests can escape the hustle and bustle, and enjoy a social soak with beautiful music from local musicians,” Soak Bathhouse CEO Alexis Dean says. “Our Soak Mermaid Beach bathhouse will have warming, harmonious atmosphere where people can unwind, recharge, and find solace from the winter chill.”

Guests will have access to the communal mineral pools, spas, saunas, steam rooms, cold-plunge pool (for the brave among us), and relaxation areas as usual, while local musicians fill the air with live tunes. There will also be a range of hot drinks available to sip on that are sure to warm the cockles of your heart. We don’t know about you, but we’re pretty keen on relaxing and recharging to the sound of live beats with a steaming sip in hand.

To attend a Soak & Sound night, book a $49 soak session during the hours of 5:00–8:00 pm on Wednesdays during winter and you’ll be part of the Soak & Sound experience at no extra charge.
