Witness the world premiere of Shifting Sands at Bleach* Festival

This weekend Currumbin Estuary will be a little busier than normal as more than 100 artists, musicians, school kids, stand-up paddle-boarders, circus performers and dancers converge for the world premiere of Shifting Sands, part of Bleach* Festival 2016.

Roll out a rug on the sand and settle in for Shifting Sands, one of Bleach* Festival’s largest and most ambitious productions to date. Be mesmerised and enchanted as the cast effortlessly combine theatre, music, dance and circus to tell you a story, a story of culture, community and the characters that are interwoven into the fabric of this peaceful and iconic seascape.

The show is set to the sounds of Gold Coast artist Bobby Alu and promises to be an experience that won’t be forgotten in a hurry. Shifting Sands is a free community event and will take place at Currumbin Estuary from 5:45 pm on Saturday March 12 and Sunday March 13.
