In case you’ve been living under a rock (or a heavy pile of bohemian-style clothing), Moulin Rouge! The Musical is dancing into Brisbane this month. The starry stage production, based on Baz Luhrmann’s 2001 jukebox musical hit, will take over QPAC following sold-out seasons in Melbourne, Sydney and Perth. Produced by acclaimed Australian company Global Creatures, Moulin Rouge! The Musical features some of your favourite songs from the original movie including ‘Your Song’, ‘Elephant Love Medley’, ‘Come What May’, ‘El Tango De Roxanne’ plus additions from Adele, Katy Perry, Sia, Rihanna and Beyoncé. To celebrate the opening of the must-see production (and to help those struggling to get their hands on tickets), TodayTix has launched a $30 digital lottery for Moulin Rouge! The Musical in Brisbane.

So how does this luck-of-the-draw experience work? Keen theatre-goers must download the official TodayTix app in the App Store or Google Play Store. Then you can enter the digital lottery for a chance to purchase up to two exclusively priced $30 tickets to Moulin Rouge! The Musical, with participants who share across socials gaining an additional entry to the lottery. Entries for the digital lottery are now open, and will close at 1:00 pm AEST on Wednesday May 10. The lottery will continue to run each week for the duration of the Brisbane season, opening every Thursday at 12:01 am AEST and closing the following Wednesday at 1:00 pm AEST for the upcoming week’s performances, with a limited number of tickets available per show. Make sure to keep your phones close, as winners will be notified via email, text and push notification, and will have just one hour to claim and pay for their tickets through the TodayTix app before they are offered to another entrant.
