Karnivool celebrate a decade of music with a retrospective tour
Themata, the debut album from Karnivool wowed music listeners upon its release ten years ago. Now the Western Australian band is touring Australia to mark a decade of heavy metal performance.
When Karnivool released its debut album Themata independently in 2005, little did the group of Western Australian musicians know that it would lead them to such success. Ten years on and the band is hailed as one of the best heavy metal or progressive rock acts in the country. With three acclaimed albums under its belt, Karnivool has toured relentlessly to ensure that its music remains rooted in the consciousness of Australia.
A decade on from its first emergence, Karnivool has decided to commemorate its debut album by embarking on the Themata Decade Tour. Travelling across Australia to perform in front of legions of die-hard fans, Karnivool will be playing Themata in its entirety as well as some newer favourites. You can catch Karnivool at the Coolangatta Hotel on Friday May 8.
