Indulge your sweet tooth at My Gelato in Broadbeach

Just because summer is over doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy a hefty scoop (or two) of gelato. If you’re keen to indulge your sweet tooth, pop in and say ciao to Broadbeach’s newest gelateria, My Gelato. The venue is the second in the family for Davide Lo Giudice and Giordana Sorrentino who also own My Gelato in Kirra.

If you think all gelato is created equal, you’d be sadly mistaken. There are a myriad of factors that affect the end result, including the amount of air injected, the serving temperature and of course the all important ingredients. My Gelato’s gelato is made using time-honoured techniques that Davide learned at the Carpigiani Gelato University in Bologna in Italy (gelato university, sign us up!) and has been crafting traditional, authentic Italian gelato ever since.

Offering a mouthwatering array of flavours such as the OMG, a magnificent salted caramel, Nutella and toffee layered creation, a deliciously delicate and sweet Rosemilk and zesty lemon and lime, My Gelato’s range is vast and constantly evolving. The gelato is made fresh daily and only uses premium ingredients such as real fruit, fresh milk and cream, Dutch coco and Lindt 70 percent chocolate, organic white chocolate, nuts and a few imported ingredients from Italy to ensure the authenticity of flavour. The result is lower in fat and much denser than regular ice-cream so the first thing you will notice is the flavour explosion as it touches your tastebuds. My Gelato’s gelato is also gluten free and free from artificial colours, flavours and preservatives so you can feel good about being a little bit naughty.
