SOL Elements, a breathtaking elemental bathhouse, is opening in Tamborine Mountain next year

2023 is the year of self-care, and we’re looking to carry this theme into 2024 and beyond. It’s divine timing then that a new wellness destination has been announced for Tamborine Mountain next year. An elemental bathhouse nestled within the tropical rainforest, SOL Elements will feature a bounty of blissful facilities and treatments, from a Himalayan salt cave to detoxifying saunas.

A sanctuary for rejuvenation and balance, SOL Elements is an elemental bathhouse that will invite guests to immerse themselves in the regenerative power of earth, air, fire and water. Relaxation seekers will be able to begin their holistic experience with a dose of earth inside the organic body clay room, where they can apply mineral-rich clay to their bodies, drawing toxins away and leaving the skin feeling refreshed and revitalised. The element of air will be explored in the venue’s Himalayan salt cave, where guests can practise the art of breathwork guided by experienced practitioners. Next, they can embrace the healing power of water in the communal onsens (Japanese for hot spring), where oxidised waters soothe muscles, and there’s also an ice bath to dip into and a steam room to sweat it out in. Then it’s time to play with fire (or heat at least, anyway) in SOL Elements’ array of saunas, from infrared to heated stone. There’s even a communal fire-pit to gather around for a yarn!

Those looking to elevate their experience can do so in the private elemental suites, featuring every elemental experience from the communal room. The Tamborine Mountain relaxation station will also feature sensory-deprivation float rooms and a range of massage treatments so visitors can truly switch off and bliss out. Keen to reconnect and embark on a serene and soothing soul adventure? SOL Elements is due to open in early 2024. Keep your peepers peeled on The Weekend Edition for more information closer to the opening date!
