Sharing is caring – gather your dearest for dim sum and dessert at The Lab’s Tray of Togetherness High Tea
We’re in the midst of one of our favourite annual celebrations – Lunar New Year! To help you celebrate in style, The Lab at Treasury Brisbane have concocted a share-style feast for the senses – the Tray of Togetherness High Tea. Full of mouth-watering miniature eats and tantalising treats, this is one afternoon tea we can’t wait to get our hands on.
Lunar New Year is lighting up The City and there’s no better way to celebrate the Year of the Tiger than with an Asian-inspired spread in the form of The Lab’s Tray of Togetherness High Tea. Available every Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 pm throughout February, this head-turning high tea is made up of Asian-inspired canapes and petite decadent desserts that are sure to knock socks off. Start off on a savoury note and fill your belly with dynamite dim sum with prawn dumplings, xiao long bao, red bean buns and crispy pork belly bao with pickled daikon all set to grace the table.
The bite-sized delights don’t stop there, no siree! On the sweet side, you’ll find pistachio macarons with gold leaf, chestnut mont blanc, pistachio and chocolate pyramids, peanut butter cheesecake with five-spice sablé, mandarin curd tart with citrus zest, layered chestnut cake and meringue, and pineapple shortbread. Of course, high tea isn’t complete without its namesake, and so you can wash all these delicious morsels down with hand-crafted teas.
The Tray of Togetherness High Tea is $50 per adult and $25 per child and is available to tuck in to on Saturdays and Sundays during the month of February from 1:00–4:00 pm. To book, call 1800 506 889.
