Say hello to Batch Cookie Bar, the cookie slinger of your dreams

If you’re a frequent visitor to New Farm, West End, Brisbane City or Milton markets, you’re probably very familiar with Ginger’s Kitchen cookies. Now, Ginger and her delightfully delicious baked concoctions have rebranded as Batch Cookie Bar, and are as tasty as ever. Better yet, the baked-goods dispensary has just launched a permanent stall at Indooroopilly Shopping Centre that’s open seven days a week.

Batch Cookie Bar is the handiwork of Ginger Mendoza, whose small-batch bakehouse empire continues to go from strength to strength. Already selling at some of Brisbane’s best markets, you can now find these decadent dough creations at a permanent stall at Indooroopilly Shopping Centre or at the pop-up at Westfield Mt Gravatt, the latter sticking around until Christmas Eve. The locations stock six flavours each day, with a new cookie menu dropping on Instagram weekly.

There’s a bunch of flavours to choose from including the OG choc chip and the very popular and very purple ube velvet crackle, which are both available every week. Festive flavours set to tantalise taste buds include the Gingey Man (treacle, molasses and gingerbread spices with a tiny gingerbread man on top) and the Lemon Curd Pavlova (zingy lemon curd with white chocolate and meringue bits). Batch Cookie Bar slings cookies in all shapes and sizes too – you can now nab mini cookies, or if you’re needing something sweet for a special occasion you can pre-order a giant cookie cake. Dairy-free folk will be happy to learn that plant-based cookies are also available to purchase!

If you can’t get to Indooroopilly, fret not, cookie monsters. Batch Cookie Bar ships their cookies Australia wide! You can also catch the cookie-slinging crew at the markets in New Farm, West End, Brisbane City and Milton. If you’re eager to lap up some of these bad boys ASAP, make haste to the permanent stall at Indooroopilly Shopping Centre (located on level 3 just outside Timezone), the pop-up at Westfield Mt Gravatt (found on level 2 just outside David Jones) or head on over to the Batch Cookie Bar website to get some delivered straight to your door.

Psst … we’ve also heard whispers that Batch Cookie Bar will launch its first flagship concept in early 2023. Keep your eyes peeled as we will report on how that cookie crumbles as soon as we know more.
