The Brightside music venue opens in Fortitude Valley
Linking Wickham and Ann, Warner Street may have become something of a thoroughfare for music lovers of Fortitude Valley in recent times. But, the lengthy lane has recently welcomed new music venue The Brightside to its territory, giving gig-goers a fresh spot to experience live music in.
It may be in its early days, but The Brightside has already begun filling its calendar of gigs for the year ahead – with an assortment of emerging and established bands slotting in to the upcoming shows.
Lovers of live music can see a handful of bands play from early in the evening and then quench their thirsts in the venue’s beer garden that opens from 6:00 pm. Plans for a new food menu are also set to impress ravenous concert attendees in the near future – and once the bands have packed up their gear, a DJ will fill the silence with a mix of much-loved tunes.
