Food trucks and stalls, artisans and makers at the new Summer Night Markets

Brisbane’s market scene is forever changing and a new night market is set to add to the glow of the Old Museum at Bowen Hills.

Starting Friday November 13, the landmark and iconic Old Museum will become the Friday evening locale of the new Summer Night Markets. Aiming to strike a balance between great food and fun times, the Summer Night Markets will put a new perspective to a Friday evening outdoors. Food trucks and stalls, locally grown produce, craft beer, local wine and artisan stalls will all be intertwined throughout the Old Museum’s beautiful heritage gardens.

The likes of Mangia Mangia Italian Street Goods, I Heart Calamari, Two Teas, Concoctions Kerbside, Brat Haus, Fire’N’Dough and Little Nyonya Kitchen will be on the evening food line-up. Artisans and makers include Antler and Moss, Monoi Creations and Fifteenthirtyeight, who will bring their creations to join a bunch of others at each market. The Friday November 13 launch will see Swedish artist Dan Wolsner impress the crowds with his soulful music, as well as duo David Flower and Caroline Trengove on the backyard garden stage.

The Summer Night Markets will be on every Friday evening from 5:00–9:00 pm until Friday January 22, 2016.
