TWE One Can

Salvaged cans reimagined in One Can at artisan

Singular aluminium drink cans will wear many coats at artisan’s Gallery Two from Thursday March 27 until Saturday April 26, as part of One Can. Curated by Quench Collective, the exhibition gathers together creative types skilled in such fields as product design, graphic design, architecture, jewellery and fashion, to potter in the art of repurposing something old into something new. The creative thinkers challenged with the task of transforming a common beverage can into a functional or sculptural object include Arkhefield, Pippin Blackwell, Matt Dabrowski, Neil Davidson, Matt Emmerson & Hoopla Family, Paul Fairweather, Nicholas Flutter & Michael Lineburg, Albert Mishriki, Damian Thompson & Lat27, Shane Thompson, Christina Waterson and our own Linsey Rendell. And for the less creative among us who may not be up to such fiddly challenges, the reinterpreted cans will also be available for purchase.
