Whether you’d prefer to farewell 2023 at a poolside party, enjoying a drool-worthy degustation or boogieing the night away at a rooftop extravaganza, Rydges South Bank is sure to have you entering 2024 in style.

Say sayonara to 2023 at the ultimate sky-high party at Rydges South Bank’s level 12 rooftop. Boasting some of the best views of the Brisbane River, revellers will enjoy front row seats to the sparkling fireworks, alongside four hours of bottomless booze, beats and bites. A live band and DJ will provide endless dance-inducing tunes, while hula hoopers, stilt walkers and fire performers will keep you entertained all throughout the night. For those who’d prefer to farewell 2023 with a flavour-filled feast, Bacchus Restaurant will be dishing up a New Year’s Eve degustation created by chef de cuisine Manuele Erriu. With two seatings available (5:30 pm and 8:00 pm), diners will indulge in a delicious degustation featuring a selection of small bites, kingfish with sheep yoghurt, cucumber, dill and hongarebushi, risotto with herb pesto, goat cheese, Szechuan pepper and lime, lamb rump with cauliflower, heirloom carrot and coffee jus. An eye-catching dessert in the shape of a Granny Smith apple will cap off the feasting festivities, alongside a sumptuous selection of petit fours. The second seating will also include a delectable duck dish and Champagne lobster – yum! Glitz, glamour and starlit views await at Soleil Pool Bar this New Year’s Eve. Book a private booth and enjoy breathtaking views of the spectacular fireworks display, an open bar serving premium drinks and shaking up classic cocktails, and a salivation-worthy selection of sweet and savoury grazing platters.
