Dive in to an Amalfi Coast-inspired beach club at The Westin Brisbane

With the recent bout of steamy weather, we can’t think of anything nicer than a dip in a pool. Those looking to while away summer days with their swimmers on and a cocktail in hand can do so at Brisbane’s newest poolside destination, the Nautilus Beach Club. Located within The Westin Brisbane, this Amalfi Coast-inspired beach club has a swim-up bar with tantalising tipples, plenty of sumptuous seafood snacks and live entertainment that will transport you to beach clubs far-flung.

Most of us will probably get at least a few cheeky annual-leave days over the summer break and we know just the place to spend it –  the Nautilus Beach Club at The Westin Brisbane. This resort-style summer oasis is opening on Friday December 16 for the summer to both guests and the general public (score!), and it’s the perfect place to cool down with a cocktail in hand. Don your cutest summer ‘fit – with your swimmers underneath, of course – and get ready to lounge poolside or cool off while you paddle on over to Brisbane’s first swim-up bar. For just $29, guests can enjoy the pool for up to eight hours and you’ll even get a welcome spritz on arrival! You can sip on whistle-wetting spritzes by Malfy Gin (think Amalfi Coast classics including Limoncello, the Hugo and Campari), refreshing Peroni beers or a classic pina colada. Those who work up an appetite can fill their bellies with delectable dishes from a special summer menu, which features Moreton Bay bug rolls, Hiramasa kingfish ceviche and a jam-packed seafood platter.

Helping you to beat the heat will be a sizzling selection of entertainment that will take over the poolside destination from 3:30–6:30 pm across the weekends. The summer beats will transport you straight to Amalfi Coast beach clubs, with globe-trotting DJ Vicki Lee set to hit the decks Fridays, while DJ Gloria Ansell, fresh from performing in Ibiza and Miami, will bring the party on Saturdays and Sundays. Those who have been watching the second season of The White Lotus and want to live it up poolside with all of the luxurious extras can book their own exclusive Nautilus Beach Club experience. For $239 for two people, you can lounge in a private cabana while you graze on a fresh seafood platter, enjoy a bottle of rosé and still or sparkling water.

Nautilus Beach Club will open at The Westin Brisbane in The City from 11:00 am until 7:00 pm Friday to Sunday, from December 16 through to March 05, 2023. To make a booking, head to the Brisbane Tickets website
