World’s best feature in Future Shorts Film Festival

Following a well-received first season in August, the Future Shorts Film Festival is back to showcase the best in short film through a multisensory experience at QT Gold Coast.

More than 300 cities and 90 countries have participated in the Future Shorts Film Festival, an event celebrating cinema and short films collected from filmmakers around the globe and from notable film festivals such as Cannes, Sundance, the BAFTAs and more. After a successful first season in August, Future Shorts returns to the Gold Coast to showcase season two.

Going beyond the boundaries of regular film festivals, Future Shorts brings together many forms of entertainment to provide an all-encompassing package, including live entertainment, art exhibitions, food, drinks and thought-provoking presentations. The team behind Future Shorts has put together a program of high-calibre film, showcasing seven of the world’s best shorts that spark emotional fires and spur discussion. The short films have been gathered from countries such as the United Kingdom, Iran and Greece with genres ranging from comedy, animation, action and documentary.

QT Gold Coast will be hosting the festivities, which will encompass the Calpyso Deck and the Stingray Lounge on Saturday November 29 from 5:00 pm. VIP packages are available as well as general admission tickets.
