The Last Hurrah: Woodland’s final weekend

The time has come for Woodland to close. While the sorrow is overwhelming when we lose a much-loved weekend venue, The Weekend Edition was chipper to learn that owner Matt Brady will be using his newly found weekend freedom to get a little fresh mountain air in his lungs and some nature under his well-dressed toes – with his dedicated captaining of the Woodland and The Outpost ships leaving no spare time for such adventures over the past two years. In a few months' time, something new will fill the space but, for now, we will celebrate and commiserate the end of this (short) era. more
