Carol Lloyd performs her hits at Brisbane Powerhouse

One of Australia’s rock icons, Carol Lloyd, is heading to the Brisbane Powerhouse to perform some of the greatest hits of her time with Railroad Gin and her solo career.

Railroad Gin were an iconic jazz and blues band that formed in Brisbane in 1969. Their most popular record, 1975’s chart-topper, A Matter of Time was a huge success, one which cemented the band as one of Australia’s best blues-rock outfits. Railroad Gin’s lead singer, Carol Lloyd became a household name thanks to the band and her own impressive solo career, which saw her perform alongside the likes of AC/DC, Air Supply, Suzie Quatro, Billy Thorpe, Marcia Hines and many more.

Carol Lloyd and her band will be taking stage at The Powerhouse to perform a collection of hits from the Railroad Gin back-catalogue and her own material. The performance, It’s Time, will see Carol perform songs from A Matter Of Time, plus hit singles ‘Do Ya Love Me’ and ‘All the Good Things.’ Tickets are still available, as well as special VIP tickets which include a meet and greet with Carol Lloyd – a must-buy for any legitimate fan of her music.
