Brisbane Festival sets up camp at South Bank

September will see the river’s banks filled with music, dancing, theatre and light as Brisbane Festival sets up camp in South Bank.

In the balmy springtime air, South Bank will welcome an impressive light garden installation and a technicolour light display on the Brisbane River this September. Brisbane Festival patrons will be able to catch a stunning view of the light shows from the Santos GLNG Lounge – a free-entry venue where you can enjoy food and drinks and soak up the electric atmosphere. The Santos GLNG City of Lights show will premiere during the Opening Day Concert, which will highlight indigenous traditions and live music.

South Bank will also play home to The Spiegeltent, featuring a host of inspiring musical and theatrical events, as well as The Spiegeltent Garden Bar. As the festival draws to a close, come September 28, the views of Sunsuper Riverfire from the banks will be some of the best in Brisbane.
