U.R(BNE) Festival

Celebrate your hometown at U.R{BNE}

Brisbane may not be the biggest city in Australia, but it has a community like no other. Held through April and May, U.R{BNE} is an annual festival in ode to urban spaces and creativity in the local district. The annual event encourages all who attend to also become participants, helping to create greater public involvement and understanding of how spaces are developed, and how they can be improved. Just some of the events included are a City Chic fiesta in Burnett Lane, the music project of Spencer Lane Live and a family-friendly picnic in Albert Street. Art, film, music and sporting (from walking to cycling) events are also involved in the community initiative – visit the website for further details.
