The Wing Fix story is one of incremental successes. After earning a cult following with their chicken-wing slingin’ market stall food truck, Peter and Ross Jacobi opened their first bricks-and-mortar Wing Fix location in Morningside in March 2019. As of September, the duo had expanded the Morningside location to cater for the huge demand – increasing seating capacity from 14 seat to more than 30. Now the team has expanded further – Peter and Ross snagged a sizeable location in the heart of Coorparoo Square for a brand-new (and much larger) outpost. Wing Fix opened in March 2020 in the former home of Saffron Indian Restaurant – a 140-sqm space gave the team plenty of room to experiment and more seats for folks to get their Wing Fix fix. In addition to Wing Fix’s established menu of wings (which come in six flavours), burgers (eight kinds) and sides (chicken tenders and chilli-cheese fries), the Coorparoo Square location also sells some seriously decadent thickshakes, with flavours including Nutella and Reeses Pieces. Monthly burger specials are worth visiting for, and come summer the venue will also start serving beer towers and boozy shakes as well!
