The QA Hotel

Sitting pretty on James Street, the QA Hotel has long been one of the most reliable and comfortable watering holes in the inner suburbs – pairing hearty fare with lively atmosphere. Since 2014, the establishment has undergone some considerable changes to bring it in line with the rapidly changing food scene emerging around it, including the addition of eateries Farrier and Botanical Bar & Kitchen. The QA Hotel itself also underwent some minor tweaks, which saw the front of house portion and the QA bar spruced as well as the addition of a new kitchen. Function rooms have been added upstairs, offering a range of capabilities for small-scale and large gatherings. The QA kitchen is still cooking up a host of pub classics, including charred wagyu cheeseburgers, grilled haloumi, cos and witlof salad, slow-roasted lamb, onion and rosemary pie and chicken parmigiana. Don’t forget – the QA Hotel is a pub at heart, so consider it your first port of call for a casual cold beverage with friends.
