Tartufo

Classic Italian charm permeates from Tartufo, an authentic Italian restaurant in Fortitude Valley – complete with an imported pizza oven you’ll notice as you enter the space. The cuisine at Tartufo is traditional, simple and hearty – made with local produce from within a 200-kilometre radius wherever possible. Inspired by his heritage, passionate owner Tony Percuoco has designed the classic Italian menus, which draws from his hometown of Naples and regions of Tuscany, Umbria and Abruzzi. Diners are spoilt for choice when choosing from the menu, which features its trademark napolitana pizze. From entree to dessert you’ll be treated to the much-loved tastes of Italy, as well as its famed drops of wine. The large dining room space has had an Italian-inspired shake-up in recent times, and the addition of the red-tiled pizza oven has seen many Brisbane diners heading to Tartufo to experience the real deal.
