Snag & Brown in Annerley sets itself apart from other cafe destinations by spotlighting the under-appreciated elements that are overshadowed by the ever-popular bacon and eggs combo. Several meals on the menu boast roasted hash browns and gourmet sausages, adding new flavours to the mixture on a regular basis. Crowd favourites include braised pork belly with black pudding, hash, slow poached eggs (cooked at 63 degrees, to be precise) and popcorn crackling as well as chicken spinach and pine nut sausage, eggs, leafy greens and hash. Bear Bones Coffee and teas from West End Tea Co is available, soon to be followed by a beer, wine and spirits offering in the near future. Snag & Brown is available for functions, and will look to add a beer garden, veggie patch and play facilities for kids in the coming months.
