Sea Legs Brewing Co.

Brisbane is continuing to strengthen its craft-beer offering in 2018, with the year finishing with the opening of Sea Legs Brewing Co. in Kangaroo Point. The brewery has set up shop in a warehouse beneath the Story Bridge, installing a humungous 15-hectolitre brewery system with a 9000-litre fermenting capacity to produce Sea Legs Brewing Co.’s core range of beers, while a 100-litre pilot brewery is on hand for experimental brews. The Sea Legs brewed more than 130 batches before opening its bricks-and-mortar home, perfecting its craft, and offers a variety of beers ranging from light quaffable summer-style lagers to hop-heavy IPAs. Sea Legs is pouring 12 beers on tap, with five core staples and a selection of rotating and guest brews. Non-beer drinkers can sip on a clutch of hand-selected wines, spirits and cocktails jugs, while the food menu offers complementary eats such as pizzas, burgers and wings. Growlers and squealers are available to take brews home, and once up and running Sea Legs will be distributing to a selection of craft breweries around town.
