Nestled at the end of Winn Lane is the headquarters of QUIVR, a collective that nurtures and showcases emerging DJ talent through educational classes and live-streaming performances. Founded in 2020, the team established its streaming hub in Winn Lane and two years later transformed a neighbouring retail space (and three recording studios) into a bar and home of its DJ school. At the bar, QUIVR’s own lager on tap alongside a selection of tins in the fridge, available alongside a range of French wines and a clutch of signature cocktails. On the entertainment front, Thursday nights will see graduating DJs perform as part of QUIVR’s ‘Just Hatched’ series, a roster of seasoned artists will spin on Friday and Saturday nights, while monthly laneway events will also be a fixture of the calendar.
