Queensland Multicultural Centre
The Yungaba site in Kangaroo Point was the first point of reception, where new immigrants arriving in Brisbane first landed. Honouring the significance of the area and maintaining its connection as a multicultural hub within Brisbane, the Queensland Multicultural Centre was constructed as a place where Queenslanders can share culturally diverse works of art, music and theatre to local audiences. Regularly hosting film nights and festivals, the QMC is a preferred venue for those looking for a welcoming space to showcase work or to host community programs and workshops. QMC boasts many versatile multi-purpose rooms for private events and functions, with kitchen and bar services available.
