Milksha is a Taiwan-born bubble-tea brand that boasts more than 200 locations across the globe. It arrived in Brisbane in early 2022, debuting its first Queensland location on Albert Street in The City. Though small, the dispensary packs a lot of character into its location, with vibrant neon signs illuminating a white-and-green colour scheme that has been accented by pastoral touches like timber furnishings and turf-like textures. Milksha’s menu is divided into several easy-to-navigate sections, starting with premium fresh milk teas. Maleny Dairies milk is blended with the likes of genmaicha, Valrhona cocoa and taro to create a silky, full-bodied sip. Up next are the tea lattes, which infused with earl grey, jasmine, light-roasted oolong and barley teas. Milksha’s specialty drinks feature refreshing beverages like wintermelon lemon juice tea, mango green tea and ice blended orange green tea, while the those seeking a more indulgent option can opt for the froth-loaded cloudy cream teas. Additional toppings like honey peals, pudding, red bean, herbal jelly, coffee jelly and green-tea jelly allow guests to give their drink a personalised touch, while sugar and ice levels can also be adjusted to taste.
